Our Mission

LadyBugs,LLC^TM is an organization dedicated to identifying and providing support for Women With Bleeding Disorders (WWBDs) who may have been undiagnosed with a hereditary bleeding disorder and/or improperly treated for it. LadyBugs^TM seeks to increase awareness of the issues WWBDs face, by providing education to both the lay and medical communities to help WWBDs recognize their condition and learn to advocate for appropriate medical treatment and validation of their needs, which may be different than those of men living with a bleeding disorder. LadyBugs^TM recognizes all women with hereditary bleeding disorders, including those with von Willebrand disease (VWD), those who are factor deficient, and those with rare platelet or other bleeding disorders.
